ABOUT US

Who We Are

The African Civic Leadership Program (ACLP) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in March 2016. ACLP acts as a catalyst for civil society development by combining public interest education, legal empowerment, and strategic capacity-building to help organizations thrive as independent, effective actors in promoting human rights and democracy.

We bridge research and practice—connecting data-driven insight with field-level experience to equip civic leaders, community advocates, and emerging organizations for meaningful and sustainable change.
